Overview
Garage doors ride on vertical and curved horizontal tracks held in place by brackets bolted to the framing around the opening. The whole system depends on those tracks being straight and properly spaced — even a small bend, often from a car bumper, a stored bike, or storm debris, can throw a roller out of its channel and bring the door to a stop or send it grinding sideways.
When You Need This
We get called for this after vehicle bumps in tight garages, after storms (a surprisingly common cause along the Jacksonville coast, where wind-driven debris and flooding can rack a track loose), after a spring or cable failure that let the door drop unevenly, or simply after years of loose lag bolts working their way out of old framing.
